Salmon is high in omega-3 fatty acids, an incredibly healthy kind of fat. Regular intake of omega-3 fatty acids lowers your risk for heart disease.
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 salmon filets, 6 ounces each
Instructions:
- Combine Dijon mustard, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar and salt in a large zipper storage bag.
- Add salmon to the bag and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Remove salmon from the bag, reserving the leftover marinade.
- Baste salmon with the remaining marinade prior to cooking.
- Grill salmon for six minutes on each side, marinating between each turn.
